How to store wrapping paper
I don’t have a big closet, craft room, or spare bedroom to store my gift wrapping supplies. Most of it has all ended up in the laundry room. I have a bin for gift bags, bows, curling ribbon, etc. And at one point I purchased one of the stand-up wrapping paper containers. That worked for most things, but every now & then I’d end up with an enormously big roll of paper … longer than the container.
I love it when my husband gets on cleaning spurts. He’s so much better at organizing than I am. He’s not good at keeping things organized, but he definitely knows how to get it started.
So, I know this won’t work if you don’t have this kind of shelving system, but if you do … you can thank my husband for this little tip:
And that night, my friend, he was a genius!

He is a genius!! Thanks for sharing this idea. I have five rolls of wrapping paper I picked up after Christmas that I stuck under our bed because they were too long for the drawer I normally keep wrapping paper in. Since we have those wire shelves (not my favorite, but oh well), I’m going to go find a closet!! Thanks again!

Ugh, I know … they’re not my favorite either, but now I at least feel like we’re using that wasted space:)

Fantastic! Hey, I’m all about using every inch of storage in your house! Negates the need for a bigger house. Guess that’s why we can live in 740 square feet comfortably

Very neat idea!!
So, I recognize that highchair/booster on the shelf. How did you like it? We are using the same one (different colors though) for our 6 month old son and I LOVE it!

That is so smart! It’s totally worth buying that type of shelf just to do that. It seems like I always have those huge rolls of wrapping paper that simply will not fit in those wrapping paper bins.
