We went to the circus this weekend! It’s been 14 years since I’ve been to the circus.

After being snowed out of our original show, braving the crowds of Peta Protesters, exchanging our tickets, taking three escalators & a flight of stairs up … we finally made it to our seats!  *Whew*

Atlanta was hit with 3+ inches of snow, which is a big deal around here.  So we had to miss our 11am showing because we couldn’t get out of the neighborhood!  We originally had some great seats, but we (along with everyone else in Atlanta that missed their show because of snow) had to exchange tickets for whatever was available.  Unfortunately that meant nosebleed!

But it didn’t matter, we were at the circus!! Evan ate some popcorn.

And Megan played with light toys.

They both loved the animals – primarily the tigers, elephants, zebras & horses.  I think I liked dogs the best.  Who knew dogs were in the circus these days??  I didn’t, but they can do some awesome tricks!  And can I just say circus people are both amazing and crazy all at the same time!  The acrobats and tricks are just insane.  I mean really, how does one walk a rope several stories into the air, jump through a ring of fire and actually agree to being shot from a cannon???  See?  Amazing.  And Crazy.

And most importantly we got our “after” picture.
