The pleated poppy

On the very last night of Blissdom we were hanging out watching certain people rock some karaoke, when this super cute blogger came over to give out her business card.

It wasn’t just any business card. It was the “most cutest” business card I had ever been given!

It looked something like this:

There was only one instead of three, but are you believing it!! This lovely woman hand made these for all her business cards … how super wonderful is that! I wore mine the first Monday we were back from Blissdom. And I received several compliments … rightfully so!

To make the story even better, I had to email “The Pleated Poppy” after Blissdom because I felt HORRIBLE!! You see I know The Pleated Poppy, but I didn’t know I knew her. Following that?? I subscribe to her blog, I read her blog, I comment on her blog, I love her blog!! The problem – I know her as Lindsey from “Imperfect”. I even knew that Lindsey from Imperfect made these adorable Posies, but I just figured I was meeting someone else that does too. You see, Google Reader titled her blog – “Lindsey from Imperfect”. And since I read her in google, I don’t see her cute header & side bars enough to register who she really is!! Lindsey was sweet enough to write back & explain that her blog was originally called Imperfect so that’s why it’s in my reader filed as such.

So we met, but didn’t really meet. *SIGH*

But isn’t her work adorable!! Her prices are great (this 3piece set is only $24). And she makes a lot of other things as well!! Her gifts would make a wonderful birthday present for a girlfriend or mom. I know I’m keeping her shop bookmarked for ideas in the future!!
