I’ve been following some of my favorite blogging ladies during their trip to the Dominican Republic this week with World Vision.  So, this week I’m highlighting some of the favorite posts I’ve read from that team.

Is Child Sponsorship Worth It? from OhAmanda: My family just sponsored our first child through World Vision last month.  And Amanda got to meet him while she was on this trip!  She got to give him a bag of small gifts from us.  Knowing that she’s actually met the child that benefits from our $35 per month is so wonderful!  He is real!!  It is worth it!!

A Meeting 10 Years in the Making from The Diaper Diaries:  Jill & her husband have been sponsoring a young boy through World Vision for 10 Years.  She got to meet him for the first time on this trip – how very cool is that!!!

Pregnant in the DR from The Mom Creative:  I had two late summer pregnancies in Atlanta – HOT!!  But reading this reminds me that I had it good!!

Thoughts from Hannah from Bargain Briana:  This is from the perspective of an 11-year old girl.  Very cool!!

My Sober Friend from Jesus Needs New PR: Wow!

And MommySnacks(.net) has some awesome posts as well, but I’ve been getting some virus warnings on her site this week.  So I’m not going to add the link right now, but you should definitely click over to her site too either today (if you have good anti-virus) or maybe next week once she’s in town to fix the issue!
