With a degree in Business Marketing, I began my career in 2002 with a User Research Firm in Atlanta.  Through a period of six years, I wore many hats with the firm but my passion always went back to the user.  How can I make the User have a better experience?

Now at home with two children, my passion for this question has not gone away.  In fact, it’s grown even more.  As social media has grown I continue to see the importance of giving the User (Customer, Client, Blog Reader) a great experience.  Because the User will talk.  And in today’s world of Twitter, Facebook, Blogging, Stumbling, and More, the word is getting out.  And it’s getting out louder and faster!

Users are having conversations every day about YOUR company. YOUR product.  YOUR website. Are you engaging in those conversations?  Do you even know where to find them?

You may author a blog, run a small business, or an established larger one.  No matter where you are in the journey, the Usability of your Website or Blog is important. If your reader or customer doesn’t have a good experience on your site, they leave.  For a company-based website this results in lower sales.  For a blog, this results in lower traffic.  Keep your readers coming back by giving them a site that’s easy to use!
